Measure your clicking speed honestly
A click speed test only means something if the measurement is fair. This one starts the clock on your first click and stops it exactly on the whistle, with the countdown displayed to a tenth of a second while you hammer away. Total clicks and clicks per second are both shown at the end, computed to two decimal places, so there is no ambiguity about how the number was earned.
Pick your format before you start: a 1-second snap test, a 5-second standard run, or a 10-second grind where hand stamina matters as much as speed. Each format keeps its own personal best, because a 1-second burst and a 10-second marathon are genuinely different disciplines — comparing them directly would flatter the sprinter.
Ratings, history, and instant retries
Every finished run earns a rating — Amazing, Fast, Average, or Slow — based on your final CPS, giving you an immediate sense of where you stand. The result card appears with the score, the click count, and a Try again button that resets the test in one tap, because nobody ever takes a click speed test just once.
The page remembers your last twenty attempts in local storage and ranks your top five per duration on a private leaderboard. Chasing your own best is the real game — each retry either slots into the table or does not, and either way you know instantly. Keyboard players can tap the space bar instead of clicking; it counts the same.
Mouse, trackpad, or keyboard — all counted fairly
A click speed test should not quietly favor one input device. Here every valid press counts the same whether it comes from a mouse button, a trackpad, a touchscreen, or the space bar, and the timing starts on your very first input regardless of which one it was. Pick whichever input your device offers and the score is comparable.
That comparability is why the personal best matters more than any single run. Hardware, hand temperature, and even mouse switch quality vary from hour to hour; a best score built from many attempts averages out the luck. Aim to beat your own number, and the click speed test stays honest — and stays fun.
